Access
The teacher has exposed students and their families to people, programs, resources, and connections that can open doors for them, and they are able to navigate and access those opportunities.
Introduction
My third-grade students are becoming more aware of their surroundings and issues going on in their community. Because of this development, I made it my duty to expose my students and their families to projects and activities that bring awareness to the issues in their community. These opportunities were created through rigorous research, engaging lessons and feedback from my administration.

I take the role of an educator seriously, especially when planning events and projects that exposes my community to enlightening facts. To do this effectively takes a lot of research, preparation and failure as well. However, the reward of seeing information applied to tasks that was researched by you is an insurmountable feeling.
